Kitsap Housing for All is currently focused on informing local mobile home tenants about the HB 127, new law that prohibits mobile home park owners from raising the rent by more than 5% a year. We also want to give tenants resources if or when their landlords violate this new law. See resources here

We are looking for volunteers to help us canvass at Kitsap mobile home parks to hand out flyers and to let the residents know about their rights. Our next canvasser training session will be November 21st 7pm at Otherwise Society Poulsbo.

We also want to inform WA residents about the impact of HB 127 on all other renters as well. The new law limits rent increases for properties subject to the Residential Landlord Tenant Act at a maximum of 10.0%. Informational and legal resources can be found here
